Pursuant to the Article 23 of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement, the Kyrgyz Republic formed the National Trade Facilitation Council and determined the composition of the Council, its goals and objectives, as well as the rights and obligations of its members.

The Secretariat of the Council provides administrative support, coordinates the National Trade Facilitation Council’s performance, and consists of seven people.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, being an authorized state body in the field of foreign trade, formed Working Groups of the National Trade Facilitation Council for the effective implementation of the provisions of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement and timely interaction and information of stakeholders.
