In 2015 the following meetings of intergovernmental Commissions were prepared and held:
On March 14, 2015, the first meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkmen commission for trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation was held in Ashkhabad (Turkmenistan) chaired by Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Mamataliyev and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Artykov Murad Redzhepovich. During the meeting the commission discussed issues of cooperation in the sphere of economy, trade, in the field of the fuel and energy complex, health care, education and science, the social sphere, agriculture, transport, culture, information, tourism, cinematography, the legal framework.
On March 16-17, 2015, the 7th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held in New Delhi, India, chaired by Minister of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic K. Turdubaev and State Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic India Ms. Nirmala Citaraman. The parties reviewed the current state of mutual trade and investment, discussed issues of further development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, cooperation in agriculture, health, energy, construction, infrastructure, standardization and metrology, ICT, education, culture, information, mass communications, textile and leather industry etc.
On April 28, 2015, the 5th meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Belarusian commission on trade and economic cooperation chaired by the acting chairman took place in Minsk (Republic of Belarus). The parties discussed the state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Belarus, agreed to consider the possibility of creating a Belarus-Kyrgyzstan Business Cooperation Council. The development of further cooperation in such areas as agriculture, health care, social protection of the population, education, science, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations, support for small and medium-sized businesses were discussed.
On June 8, 2015 in St. Petersburg the 7th meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-St. Petersburg Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation took place chaired by Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Dil Valery Isidorovich and Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations St. Petersburg Grigoriev Evgeny Dmitrievich. The parties addressed issues of cooperation in the field of energy, education, vocational education, in the field of labor, employment and labor migration, health, social development, culture, geological exploration and extraction of mineral resources, environmental protection, in the field of interethnic and interfaith relations, etc.
On July 13-14, 2015, the 4th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Bishkek under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic O. Pankratov and Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Dycha. The meeting of the Commission addressed issues of cooperation in the field of economics, finance and banking, entrepreneurship, agriculture, transport, tourism, information and communication, environmental and technical security, geology and mining, social policy and other areas of cooperation.
On August 26, 2015 in Cholpon-Ata the eighth meeting of the Coordination Group “Kyrgyzstan - XUAR of China” under the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Chinese Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held chaired by the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic O. Pankratov and Deputy Chairman of the People’s Government of the Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region China Shi Dagang. During the meeting of the Coordination Group which was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the parties discussed cooperation in the trade and economic field, energy and industry, agriculture, culture and education, health, tourism and finance, as well as cooperation between the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) Kashi and the Free Economic Zone Naryn.
On October 22-23, 2015, the 14th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission for the integrated consideration of bilateral issues was held in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan) under the chairmanship of Vice-Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Mamataliyev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan A. Ibrohim . The sides discussed issues of the state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan, cooperation in the field of industry, energy, rational use of water resources, transport, science and education, environmental protection, social development, culture, sports and physical culture etc.
On November 27, 2015, the 11th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, chaired by the First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic A.Karashev and the Representative on International Trade Negotiations, Deputy Minister of Commerce of the PRC Mr. Zhong Shan. The parties addressed issues of expanding cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, agriculture, transport, energy, health, culture, tourism, banking, etc.
On December 3, 2015, the eighteenth meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation was held in Bishkek under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic T. Sariev and Head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation A. Belyaninov. The parties reached an agreement on cooperation in such areas as energy, oil and gas industry, industry, transport, communications and mass communications, agriculture, prevention, emergency response, health and social development, education, science, culture, information, environmental management, customs. The parties also adopted an Action Plan for the implementation of the Economic Cooperation Program between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation for 2014-2017.
